SWISSMEMORY™ USB Victorinox, the liaison between the traditional Swiss pocket knife and a Hi-Speed USB storage device is now available on the market with a capacity of 1 GB in addition to the classic variant in rubyRED and in the chic Silver Edition retroALOX.
The new exclusive retroALOX Edition with its ribbed Alox cover is also available in 256 MB and in addition
to the 1GB version. In comparison with the colourful pocket knives the silver-coloured technical accessory functions without LED and biro focusing exclusively on its elegant looks. The small-size Swiss specialist demonstrates its new king’s storage class in rubyRED self-confidently focusing on its white LED with high illuminating power. It thus stands out from the crowd of proven models featuring a lower capacity and red light. It goes without saying that all versions are furnished with scissors, file and knife, things that you won’t want to miss if you are outdoors.
No matter whether in rubyRED or retroALOX, 1 GB variants permit large data volumes of any format to be transported in mobile operation. Thanks to its headstart in technology and its further development Swissbit was able to cross the GB limit with its SWISSMEMORX™ USB Victorinox. A USB 2.0 controller guarantees a high-speed transmission of data with transfer rates of up to 8 MB / s. Thanks to Plug&Play the Swiss specialist is available as an external storage medium within next to nothing.
The Travel-it-easy™ Software stored on the USB Sticks converts the small handy aid into a pocket-size office. By synchronising personal user data using the USB storage medium on your own computer mails in Outlook
Express can be called off from any computer, documents from ”My Files” can be processed or Internet favourites taken over.
The software additionally enables surfing in the Internet without leaving a trace, as temporary Internet files and cookies are saved on the mobile storage medium. Thanks to password protection data stored on the medium are
protected against unauthorised access. The only exception is the „Lost & Found function”, a form saved as HTML file containing personal contact data which is immediately available to anybody if the knife is lost and found.
All new SWISSMEMORY™ USB Victorinox models are additionally available in the Flight Version, which is not equipped with scissors, knife and file so that you will have no problems with when passing the baggage control point at the airport. Customers are granted a two-year guarantee for the USB memory, for the knife corpus a life-long guarantee covering all material and fabrication defects. The storage giant is delivered with a USB extension cable.
